THIS IS ONLY A DRILL. A training exercise on Wednesday 12/102025 at 22:00 at the LyondellBasell La Porte Complex, 1515 Miller Cut Off Rd. will result in audible alarms. The community does not need to take any action. We would provide appropriate information through this CAER line and local emergency channels if this were an actual emergency. All CLEAR on local gas release event. This is the Covestro Industrial Park located at FM 565 near Highway 146 in Baytown. At approximately 12:54 PM, an ammonia release was reported at our site. Our emergency response plan was activated and functioning as designed. The release was mitigated and was contained to the site, posing no threat to the community. The cause of the incident will be investigated later by a well-trained team of Covestro professionals to prevent a future recurrence. We are pleased that there was no impact to the community and our ER plan worked as planned, ensuring the health and safety of all persons on site.
