This is a Courtesy message at 17:00 from the LyondellBasell Houston Refinery at 12000 Lawndale in Houston. We are conducting a routine drill of our incident notification system at 17:00. During this time, various announcements will be made as a test of the system. All test announcements will be preceded with “this is a test.” There is no need for community members to be concerned or take any action. If there was an actual incident we would provide appropriate information on CAER Online. Again, this is only a drill. Our internal crews are responding to a minor operational upset at the LyondellBasell Bayport Choate site, 10801 Choate Rd., Pasadena, TX. 77507, that prompted a release of process material. There is no need for the community to take any action. We are working quickly and safely to conclude the event, minimizing inconvenience and protecting the safety of the community, the environment, and our employees. Nuestros equipos internos estan respondiendo a una alteracion operativa menor en la compania de LyondellBasell Bayport Choate ubicado en 10801 Choate Rd., Pasadena, TX. 77507, que provoco la liberacion de material de proceso. No es necesario que la comunidad tome ninguna medida.
