CenterPoint Energy has closed off the natural gas line. We are now issuing the all clear.

This is a message from the Valero Houston Refinery. At approximately 1:15pm, a residential natural gas line was damaged by a third-party on Valero owned residential property outside of the refinery. At this time, CenterPoint is onsite to resolve the issue. There is no action needed or impact to the surrounding community or refinery operations.

At approximately 1:15pm, a natural gas line was damaged on Valero property.
Valero’s emergency response team and Houston Fire Department are on the scene.
Our primary concern is for safety of our workers and the surrounding community.
