Noise and/or lights, emergency response equipment/personnel movement, and spraying water may be noticeable during this time. There is no expected impact to the community. An ALL CLEAR message will be posted upon completion of the drill.

THIS IS ONLY A DRILL. A routine drill of our emergency notification system will occur at 09:00 Thursday 12/18/2025 at the LyondellBasell La Porte Complex, 1515 Miller Cut Off Rd. During this time, various emergency announcements will be made to test the system. All test announcements will be preceded with “This is a Test.” Questions can be directed to asklaporte@lyb.com . This is Greg Phillips of the Evonik - Bayport facility. We are located at 12000 Bay Area Boulevard, Pasadena, Texas, in the Bayport Industrial complex. At 9:36:09 AM on December 18 2025 our facility will be conducting a drill as a part of the on-site emergency response training we conduct one or more times annually. There will be no impact to our community or our surrounding industrial neighbors, though those passing by may see personnel activity over and above that which we typically have. This is a message from Next Wave Energy Partners located at 601 N. South Street, Pasadena Texas 77503. At “2014” on “12/17/2025 a flaring incident occurred at our facility. At “0027” on “12/18/2025” we are issuing an all clear for this incident.

You may notice a bright orange flame, black smoke, or a rumbling noise. There is no concern for our community or workers and no need to take any action. We are working to eliminate this flaring as rapidly as possible. We will update the CAER message as necessary, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
