Operational conditions at the LyondellBasell La Porte Complex, 1515 Miller Cut Off Rd. have resulted in flaring at the facility. Flaring is a safety and environmental control device used to manage and combust process materials. The community may notice a bright flame, smoke, or a rumbling noise during this time. You do not need to take any action. We are actively working to stop flaring quickly and safely. Our focus is to minimize inconvenience and protect the safety of the community, the environment, and our employees.

The INEOS Styrolution Bayport Plant in Pasadena Texas will be conducting a routine regeneration on a piece of process equipment over the next 48 to 60 hours. During this routine task, you may notice above normal activity of the sites safety flare. There are no concerns to the local communities during this operation.
