This is a courtesy message from Baystar located at 12212 Port Road in Pasadena, Texas. There may be intermittent periods of flaring from our Multi-point Ground Flare. Since the flare is at ground level, it looks different than a typical Stack Flare. Our neighbors may be able to see flaring and hear noise. The flaring poses no danger to the community and no action is necessary. The flare is part of the facility’s safety system and has been fully tested to ensure it will operate as designed. We will take every precaution to minimize the duration of flaring and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

This is Eurecat US, located at 13100 Baypark Road in Pasadena, conducting fire training at the facility from 9 A.M. to approximately 10 A.M. Smoke may be seen rising from the facility. This is routine training, and there is no cause for concern by the community.
