This is a message from Baker Hughes Bayport located at 13200 Bay Park Rd. La Porte, TX 77507. At 10:00 on 12/8/2025, a Monday alarm test occurred at our facility. At this time, nothing may be noticeable to the community. We are coordinating with local officials and working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. This is a courtesy message from Baystar located at 12212 Port Road in Pasadena, Texas. There may be intermittent periods of flaring from our Multi-point Ground Flare. Since the flare is at ground level, it looks different than a typical Stack Flare. Our neighbors may be able to see flaring and hear noise. The flaring poses no danger to the community and no action is necessary. The flare is part of the facilitys safety system and has been fully tested to ensure it will operate as designed. We will take every precaution to minimize the duration of flaring and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
