As Fleet Week begins this morning with the Naval Ship Parade, residents may notice increased activity throughout the area. The parade will take place along the Houston Ship Channel from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM Residents and visitors should expect: -Increased traffic and potential delays in the surrounding area -A higher presence of law enforcement and public safety personnel -Increased activity along the Houston Ship Channel -A scheduled flyover as part of the event Please plan accordingly, allow extra travel time, and follow all posted guidance if you choose to view the parade. This is a morning update to a previous message from PEMEX Deer Park. The diesel spill at our dock area remains fully contained, with no impacts to the surrounding community. Our emergency response team continues to perform cleanup efforts, and is monitoring conditions, including weather, as a precaution.

Our emergency response team has contained the spill and has begun cleanup efforts in the area. Cleanup efforts are ongoing, and we continue to monitor conditions, including weather, as a precaution.

This is a message from PEMEX Deer Park. We experienced a diesel spill to the Houston Ship Channel. The leak site has been isolated. Our oil spill team is working to deploy oil booms to contain the spill. We have notified the appropriate government agencies. At this time, we are not aware of an impact to the community or our industrial neighbors.
