This is a message from PEMEX Deer Park. We will be conducting live fire training from 8 AM until 5 PM on 01/28/2026. Fire and/or smoke may be seen from our facility as we conduct this training, but there is no cause for concern to the community.

This is a courtesy message from Baystar located at 12212 Port Road in Pasadena, Texas. There may be intermittent periods of flaring from our Multi-point Ground Flare. Since the flare is at ground level, it looks different than a typical Stack Flare. Our neighbors may be able to see flaring and hear noise. The flaring poses no danger to the community and no action is necessary. The flare is part of the facility’s safety system and has been fully tested to ensure it will operate as designed. We will take every precaution to minimize the duration of flaring and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Our site is currently shutdown temporary starting 1-24-26 for the freeze event and may notice flaring from our site.
Our site is staffed with five ERT employees on site as a ride out crew.
